Modeling from CAD Drawings

The 3D kiln shown in the video was modeled to scale, using 2D CAD drawings (similar to the one shown below) as a reference for precise measurements, including size and angles, and positioning of the structural elements.

A 3D Exhibit Turned Promo

Here I had the opportunity to use a CAD model to create an engaging promo. After prepping the scene for animation, adding light materials and texturing, I rendered out the shots shown in the video, adding graphics, music and voiceover.

 
 

3D Product Promo

I worked on several pieces of content for the company Cuemate, which makes specialized cue holders for pool players. This video feature renders of specific features of the product, as well as their unique “Tilt-Tech” feature, a big selling point of the product. The product and product insert were all modeled to scale from specifications provided by the manufacturer.
