Lade Danlar | Midtown Store Opening

Lade Danlar asked me to create a promotional video for their new store opening in Midtown Atlanta. I sat down with their team to work out what it is they were looking for, and learned the key things were:

• Communicating the convenience of the location to their existing customer base.

• Using a drone to capture engaging footage of Midtown that would add hype to the store’s opening.

We brainstormed a few more ideas, including getting interviews of the staff, b-roll of the inside of the store, and showing how easy it was to get in and out of the location using their own branded supply truck.

Next, I created a storyboard animatic using google maps and a few simple 3D renders, to give the team and I an idea of what the final video would look like. Once that was approved, I scheduled out the shoot day, making sure to included enough recording time for each segment of the video.

The shoot was a success, and 2 weeks later I presented the team with a final video that completely blew them away. I even received a call from the President sharing how excited they were about how it all turned out.
